General System Upgrade

We’ve pushed a large number of updates to the editing system. You’ll notice that in page-edit mode the SAVE button is now in the upper right, and a number of the management buttons are now at the top of the editing panel and across the top bar. You can also now create multi-column sections easily by clicking on the + button at the bottom of the content area, and the folder icon next to it gives you access to pre-formatted sections that you can drop into pages to kickstart more creative content blocks. We’ll be posting more in-depth tutorials on these features in the coming weeks.

New Web Stats Page

The new Stats page is here! Now you can quickly and easily track your website activity to help you get a better understanding of how people are using your site. To access the new stats page, simply pull down the Accounts menu and select “Stats”. With the new Stats page, you can gain deeper insights into your users’ engagement. For best results, give it some time for data to accumulate.

Overview Video Now On Help Center

We added a welcome/overview video to the Help Center that will give you a guided tour of your new site. The new video (15 min or so) gives you a bird’s eye view of managing your site, and is worth the time to fully understand all the features of your website. There is of course a wealth of help material on all aspects of managing your site already on the Help Center site so be sure to view it and have a look around.

New Dashboard

We’ve added a dashboard to the admin section of your site. When you login as an administrator, you are now taken to the dashboard (the page you are currently on!). From here you can see updates, such as this one, that we will be posting as we add or change things, get access to the help section, etc. In time we’ll be adding other functionality to this page. To return to the dashboard, pull down the Account tab over on the right side of your admin menu to the first menu item labeled “Dashboard.”

New Help Center

We’ve created a separate “Help Center” to get you quick answers to all of your questions. It’s a separate site so that you can have both the help info and your site open in different tabs that you can have open at the same time. You’ll find the link at the top of this Dashboard page, but you can also get to the Help Center from any page by clicking on the “HELP” button found at the far right of your admin menu above. The site has both written descriptions of how to manage aspects of your site, as well as videos that walk you thru specific examples. There’s also an extensive category menu to get you right the issue you need help with.
